Biography
Manuela Deseive was born in 1967 in Fürstenfeldbruck, Germany. Originally trained as a hairdresser, she qualified as an office administrator in 1997.
Between 1997 and 2006, Manuela Deseive was employed by two staffing service providers. During this time, she worked as an assistant to the division manager at EADS (European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company) in the LFK Guided Missile Systems division (Lenkflugkörpersystem GmbH). Subsequently, she served as an administrative specialist and assistant in the aerospace division at CAM (Computer Applications for Management). In 2004, she joined Knorr-Bremse, initially working as a team assistant in Indirect Procurement. In 2006, she was permanently employed by Knorr-Bremse. Over time, she transitioned from team assistant to buyer and later moved into the company’s Facility Management department.
Since 2014, Manuela Deseive has been a member of the Works Council for Knorr-Bremse Systeme für Schienenfahrzeuge GmbH, Knorr-Bremse AG, and Knorr-Bremse Services GmbH in Munich. Additionally, she is actively involved as a union member in the Women’s Committee of IG Metall in Munich.
In 2021, Manuela Deseive was elected to the Supervisory Board of Knorr-Bremse Rail Vehicle Systems. As of January 1, 2025, she is also a member of the Supervisory Board of Knorr-Bremse AG.
