Sylvia Walter*

Sylvia Walter was born in Berlin in 1965. In 1981 she began training as an Industrial Clerk at Hasse & Wrede, successfully completing her training in 1984. She was then taken on by the company as a permanent employee in the area of financial and general accounting. From 1992 to 1994, Sylvia Walter completed further training to qualify as a balance sheet accountant. Since 2016, she has also been entrusted with special tasks for the Management Board in commercial administration.

Sylvia Walter has been a member of the Works Council since 1998. From 2004 to 2006 she was Deputy Chairwoman, from 2006 to 2015 Chairwoman of the Works Council of Hasse & Wrede. In addition, she was a member of the General Works Council of Knorr-Bremse Systeme für Nutzfahrzeuge GmbH and a member of the Group Works Council of Knorr-Bremse AG. In 2021 Sylvia Walter was elected to the Supervisory Board of Knorr-Bremse AG.
