Knorr-Bremse sells stake in Swedish Haldex AB
Knorr-Bremse AG, the global market leader for braking systems and other systems for rail and commercial vehicles, has sold its 9.2 percent stake in Haldex AB for around EUR 28 million. The buyer is SAF-HOLLAND SE. Further details on the transaction were not disclosed. For Knorr-Bremse the investment in the Swedish brake manufacturer Haldex was a pure financial investment right from the start. As a result of the agreement with SAF-HOLLAND Knorr-Bremse has now been able to sell the shares at an attractive premium.
