Knorr-Bremse again tops EUR 4 billion in sales
- Group sales ease ahead by 1% to EUR 4.3 billion
- Rail Vehicle Systems and Commercial Vehicle Systems divisions both improve on prior-year sales

Knorr-Bremse Group
In fiscal 2012, the Knorr-Bremse Group once again posted sales of more than EUR 4 billion. In a difficult international business environment, sales eased ahead by 1% to EUR 4.3 billion (2011: EUR 4.2 billion).
The Rail Vehicle Systemsdivision posted slight growth in 2012 as sales reached EUR 2.22 billion (2011: EUR 2.19 billion). Positive impetus in the year under review was generated by the North American region, where both the passenger and freight markets showed an upturn.
The Commercial Vehicle Systems division returned sales of EUR 2.10 billion in 2012, also slightly ahead of the previous year (2011: EUR 2.07 billion). The division benefited from growth in North America, which offset a weak market environment in Europe in the second half-year in particular
